Prime minister david cameron has delived the action a stark warning about the action needed to tackle Britain's budget deficit and public debt.

He said the UK's economic problems were "even worse than we thought" and "painful" cuts to tackle the deficit would affect "our whole way of life"
Unless action was taken, he said the UK would be paying a "staggering" 70bn a year interest on its debt by 2015.
He did not say what the cuts would be but britain would come out "stronger".
